We are proud to announce the completion of Mundesley Beck, 44 homes built on a greenfield site. Our first major development.
The layout of the site, along with the house types and sizes have been designed to create a village feel. Bungalows have been placed to the north of the site in order to preserve the south eastern view from the High Street and across to nearby Stow Mill. Strong gateway house types were designed to frame junctions within the site, and soft boundaries to open space were created to minimise hard surfacing and allow gradual dissolving into pedestrian and open areas. Hedges and metal railings reinforce important routes, with masonry boundary walls to gateways and main access routes to further reinforce the village feel.
Sympathetic materials such as red brick and locally sourced flint represent the local North Norfolk area. The residences pay tribute to the rich history of Mundesley village while embracing contemporary aesthetics. The guiding design principle revolves around seamlessly blending with the surroundings, utilizing natural materials and soft tones to ensure a smooth transition from the development to the coastal environment.
Each residence boasts a traditional build concept, combined with luxury finishes and a variety of options to choose from including the kitchen, flooring and tiling finishes. The dwellings benefit from modern touches such as PIR lighting to the hall and entrance, and spotlights throughout the ground floor and bathrooms. As part of the development there is a stunning landscaped area of open green space, with small bridges over the Mundesley Beck River and a pathway leading directly to Water Lane for easy access to amenities.
Our commitment to the future is evident in every home’s design, minimizing waste and enhancing efficiency by naturally cooling the interiors during summers and maintaining warmth in winters. Highly energy-efficient doors, as well as above-standard cavity and roof insulation, curtail heat loss. Our ingenious integration of advanced eco-initiatives ensures unparalleled standards of contemporary living while also offering the potential to reduce household utility bills.
